My Skincare Routine ft. Clarisonic

I’ve been using my Clarisonic for years now and was totally thrilled at the opportunity to collaborate with the brand. If you aren’t familiar with Clarisonic, the device cleanses your skin 6 times better than your hands alone. Not only does my skin feel more clean after using the Clarisonic, but my skin absorbs serums and moisturizers better too.

As for products, I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, so I keep my skincare regimen relatively simple. I start by removing my eye make-up with Clinique Take The Day Off Make-up Remover. This is the only eye-makeup remover that actually removes my waterproof mascara! After that, I remove my face make-up with Garnier Skinactive Micellar Cleansing Water and a cotton round. It’s gentle, but it gets the job done!

Now that my face is make-up free, I cleanse my skin with the Clarisonic Mia 2 Device and my favorite cleanser, Purity Made Simple by Philosophy. I love how fresh and clean my skin feels after this step. Living in the city, I’m sure there is all kinds of dust and pollutants sitting on my face at the end of the day!

Once my face is perfectly clean, I apply spot treatment to any break-outs. I then apply eye cream and moisturizer.

I know this may sound like a lot of steps, but the entire process takes me less than 10 minutes! Proper skincare is so important and it’s something that I don’t hesitate to invest in.

I just thought I’d mention that I was initially hesitant to try a Clarisonic device due to my super sensitive skin. However, Clarisonic has so many different types of brush heads to choose from. From sensitive to deep pore cleansing, they really have something for everybody.

I hope that you found this helpful in some way! Let me know your skincare tips in the comments below. (:
