Energy by Caroline Renae

We consume all day – food, drinks, social media, you name it. It all affects our overall mindset and energy levels. How somebody feels after eating fast food can be similar to how they feel if they find out bad news on social media. I have created a program that will teach you how to make lifestyle changes that will last through accountability and conversations.

Energy by Caroline Renae is not about logging calories, or even losing weight quickly. I have developed this program based on my own personal health journey, as well as similar journeys I have witnessed. If you are done with “dieting” and are looking to nourish your mind and body, this is for you. This is about nourishing yourself from the inside out. You will figure out what your body needs to achieve proper digestion and manage stress, while keeping things fun and flexible.

We all have very unique needs. From my experience, medical professionals can be quick to write prescriptions without determining the root cause of the symptom or condition. A dietician may recommend a very specific diet, which can leave someone feeling limited. They often do not provide the support needed in transitioning onto a new diet. Nutritional advice often overlooks lifestyle aspects that affect when, why and how we eat. For example, commuting to work or stress related to your relationship with your significant other. There are so many cookie-cutter programs that don’t see the client for their authentic, individual self. Health coaching fills this void.

I use a personalized, holistic approach to healing. I believe in bioindividuality, meaning that one person’s food can be another person’s poison. We do not thrive off of the same foods and exercises as others. No math or scales are involved. We will work toward finding satisfying alternatives to your favorite indulgent foods. Movement is also key in managing stress and maintaining a healthy weight, whether that be walking, weight lifting or yoga. We’ll look at your lifestyle as a whole, and of course this involves your food choices.

My Training

I will soon receive my health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I’ve been trained in over 100 dietary theories and was taught by some of the most prominent innovators in wellness, including Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; and Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine, to name a few. My education included holistic nutrition, preventative health and health coaching.
